Magical capital of Netherlands

There is no doubt about the fact that the whole country of Netherlands is beautiful and unique. There are many charming and amazing small cities, towns and villages. However, there is one particularly interesting city.
This city is Amsterdam (here), the capital of the Netherlands. The city is most famous for its gorgeous canals, which will make you feel like you are in Venice. Because of this, the city is also described as “the Venice of the North”. The canals were built in the seventeenth century in order to keep the sea at the bay. Nowadays, they are placed in the UNESCO list and are incredible beautiful. Probably the best way to discover them is to take a boat tour. Thanks to this, you will have a chance to discover the beauty of Amsterdam from the ‘water’ perspective. It doesn’t really matter at what time you will take a boat cruise. The canals and the views are equally beautiful and stunning both during the day and during the night. During the day, you will have a better chance to see interesting street-1629172_640places among the road. During the night, you might not be able to see that much, but you will be gratified by the amazing view on bridges lit up by lights. This is incredibly beautiful view and scenario. There are many various cruises you can choose from. Probably the best ones are those during which you can hear the story about the cities and many interesting legends and facts.
Furthermore, Amsterdam has many monumental buildings and amazing museums. Thanks to this, there are many places to discover and see. For example, there is the amazing Van Gogh Museum. The museum is located exactly in this city because Vincent van Gogh, an Impressionist painter, and probably the most famous Dutch painter too, was born in the Netherlands. The whole museum is dedicated to his work and life. It is extremely worth to visit the museum while visiting to Netherlands, as there you would have a chance to admire Van Gogh’ most famous masterpieces, including “Almond Blossom” , several well-known self-portraits as well as “Sunflowers”. Another amazing and very interesting museum is the Anne Frank House. In fact, this is one of the “must see” attractions while visiting the Netherlands. Most likely you have already heard this heart breaking but extremely fascinating story of small girl (Anne Frank), who was hiding together with her family from Nazis.  However, it is still worth to visit the place. Thanks to visiting this museum, you will be able to become even more familiar with her history and see the place where she was hiding for so many year, and writing her famous diary.
